Contingent upon registration, position availability, course offerings, departmental need, and funding. Positions are part-time, non-tenure for lecturer candidate pool. Lecturers are required to reside in and teach from Hawaii.

Duties and Responsibilities- To teach various courses in Anthropology, Economics, Ethnic Studies, Geography and Environment, the Manoa Academy, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration Program, School of Communication and Information, Social Sciences, Sociology, Urban & Regional Planning, and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies. Other related duties, include meeting course requirements as established by the department/program, preparing course syllabus, grading, maintaining weekly office hours.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree from a college or university of recognized standing, with the major work in field or related field in which the instructional assignment is made or duties performed;
- Evidence of ability to teach effectively, direct group discussions, and/or to provide clinical supervision;
- Demonstrated ability of professionalism in meeting and conferring with others.
