We are seeking a Part-time AI Tools and Automation Specialists to support our unit in optimizing operations, business practices, and decision-making through the strategic use of artificial intelligence technologies. The individual will work on ad hoc, project-based assignments, collaborating with staff across departments to identify opportunities for automation, data analysis, and workflow improvement using tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Power Automate, and ChatGPT analysis tools.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Explores and evaluates emerging AI tools for business and productivity applications.
- Designs and implements AI-driven workflows for operations, HR, finance, and reporting.
- Provides guidance and informal training to staff on effective AI usage.
- Builds intelligent automation flows using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams to automate internal systems and deploy AI solutions.
- Analyzes large datasets to uncover trends, build models, and translate insights into strategic actions.
- Stays current with AI trends and recommends new tools and approaches to enhance unit performance.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalents (GED or HSED)WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience designing and implementing AI workflows or automation solutionsSKILLS
Required
Proficiency with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure ML Studio, Power Automate, and ChatGPTStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple assignmentsExcellent communication and documentation skillsPreferred
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and enterprise-level AI integrationThis is an in-person position in Indianapolis or Bloomington.
