Responsibilities Work in an interventional radiology department within a hospital setting Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Performs specialized procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, liver biopsy, nephrostomy, and more Shift consists of 4x10 hour day shifts from 9 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM Call is required 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month Block scheduling pattern with every third weekend coverage Candidates will float within the hospital based on census needs Electronic documentation is required; medication system utilizes Omnicell Scrubs are provided Responsibilities include performing a wide range of radiology and special procedures such as adrenal angiography, ERCP, IVC filter placement / removal, paracentesis, thoracentesis, vascular closure systems, and endovascular interventions Position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and supporting hospital-wide care needs through floating First-time travelers may be accepted if their experience meets requirements All required modules must be completed as part of orientation Holiday and weekend coverage required as scheduled Locals are accepted at a lower bill rate All requests for time off must be declared before assignment confirmation and must not exceed 5 days Requirements Active ARRT R, BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCIS certifications required Minimum of 2 years experience in interventional radiology and travel experience required CA state license in hand is required Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and perform laser assisted and advanced interventional procedures Proficiency in circulating, scrubbing, maintaining sterile field, and equipment / room setup No previous permanent staff from the same facility are eligible Must provide at least one recent professional reference from the past 2 years Modules and Epic training completed pre-start and during orientation License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624398.
