Ultra Care Technician

Details :

The Ultra Care Technician I is responsible for performing regularly scheduled maintenance of industrial batteries and related products at the client site.

Responsibilities :

• Represent the company professionally in accordance with company standards.
• Practice safety and good housekeeping at all times.
• Perform battery inspections, watering, washing, and full-scale inspections including recording cell voltages and specific gravities.
• Install watering systems.
• Convey information to appropriate customer contacts.
• Operate a service vehicle safely and maintain it in good condition.
• Operate a forklift and reach truck regularly.
• Recognize and address safety and EPA issues.
• Process non-potable water recovered by battery wash safely and correctly.
• Test and analyze water acidity levels (pH).
• Perform voltage testing and pressure washing of batteries.
• Maintain an accurate parts inventory.
• Promote point of sale items, allied products, and services.
• Follow scheduled maintenance routines.
• Comply with company policies on warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, and hazmat issues.
• Accurately complete and submit work orders in a timely manner.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with customers.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, technicians, and other departments to coordinate repairs, resolve complaints, or seize opportunities.
• Perform other duties as required.

Pay : $23 - $25 / hr
