Job descriptionCompetitive compensation based off experience Health, Life, and Dental Insurance Fully paid long term and short term disability 403(b) retirement plan with employer match 457(b) retirement plan Flexible paid vacation of 5 weeks CME stipend plus 5 paid days Relocation assistance Paid malpractice Opportunity in new building, new ER on Southeast side of Marion Shift hours : 12 hour shifts 7AM – 7PM; 7PM – 7AM and 12 Noon to 12 Midnight Annual ER volume : 25,000 Staffing mix : 36 hours of MD / DO coverage daily Coverage : Single coverage from the hours of 3AM to 7AM. Additional coverage with mixture of mid-level providers and physicians. Full time : 4 days on and 8 days off (1460 hours per year) Treatment Rooms – 7; Behavioral Health Rooms – 2; Trauma Rooms – 2; and Observation / Admit – 4 Meditech EMR MD or DO degree required BC / BE Emergency Medicine. Prefer Emergency Medicine trained and Board Certified but will accept FM / IM if ABEM certified or has significant experience working in ER. Licensed in Indiana or in process Marion, IN is located in Grant County conveniently between Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. Marion is home to two world class universities, Indian Wesleyan University and Taylor University, as well as Ivy Tech Community College. It is know as a family-oriented county with excellent schools, safe communities, and full of annual festivals / events. Population currently sits at 30,000 residents.
