About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : RN Licensure

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 180 days of hire), TNCC (within 180 days of hire), NIHSS (within 90 days)

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience
• Patient ratio experience
• Charting system experience (Epic preferred)
• Travel experience required

Description : Local BR differs.

Position requires CA RN licensure.

Must have BLS and ACLS certifications.

PALS certification must be obtained within 180 days of hire.

TNCC certification must be obtained within 180 days of hire.

NIHSS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Shift is 3 x 12 nights from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15.

Weekend requirement includes every other Friday / Saturday and holidays as needed.

Patient ratios are 2 : 1 for days, nights, and weekends.

Float is occasionally required.

Patient age group includes adults.

Daily census is approximately 40 patients.

Unit has 44 beds.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more.

Ability to manage arterial lines, assist with chest tubes, and administer blood products is essential.

Experience with care of ventilated patients and management of multi-system organ dysfunction is required.

Must have skills in various intensive care unit procedures including titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.

CPAP and BiPAP management is required.

Must be familiar with infection prevention and isolation precautions.

Experience with neuro intensive care, post-neurosurgery management, and trauma recovery is preferred.

MUST be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing.

References obtained within the last year are required.
