Responsibilities
In cooperation with other members of the department clinical staff, an Ochsner Staff Physician will provide and coordinate patient care by abiding by Ochsner’s core values of Patients First, Integrity, Compassion, Inclusivity, Teamwork and Excellence and The Responsibilities of the Professional Staff. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Light work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities. This position involves the handling of hazardous drugs and / or hazardous drug contaminated products.
