Job Title : Automobile Lead Technician

Reports to : Service Manager / Director

Position Description : The Automobile Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing cars and light trucks. She / he provides the mechanical support for the automobile dealership. Requires proficient use of tools, such as : computerized diagnostic tools and power tools (pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding torches, jacks, and hoists).

Responsibilities :

Perform equipment repairs and maintenance in accordance with company standards

Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues with GM vehicles

Weld and fabricate components as needed

Provide exceptional customer service and sales support

Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and inventory

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements :

Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role

Strong knowledge of GM vehicles and their repair procedures

Proficient in welding and auto body repair techniques

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

Proven Dealer experience and Certification level. Will pay for training for Toyota Certification.
