Logistics Coordinator
The Logistics Coordinator is an entry-level position that will work on-site in our Salem, NH headquarters. As a Logistic Coordinator you will provide support to the logistics team to ensure all work is being processed to meet operational targets, as well as meet internal and external customer / consumer expectations.
As our Logistics Coordinator, your responsibilities will include :
- Act as a backup to manage the prioritization of the Distribution workflow including consideration of customer routing guides and shipping windows.
- As a backup, monitor the DC waves and ensure customer orders are finished, routed and shipped within ship windows. Check vendor websites for successful routing confirmation.
- Follow-up on communication and data transfers following order shipments.
- Act as a backup to support inbound container shipment communication with the DC and our internal / external partners.
- Act as a backup for the logistics team to plan the daily inbound and outbound workload and processing needs for the Avon warehouse.
- Assist in coverage of inbound shipment tracking and reporting.
- Assist with updates to logistics data sheets and organize for easy reference.
- Communicate with ECCO partners on the flow of work into and out of the Ryder DC.
- Participate in periodic research on traffic and route guides to ensure customer guidelines are met.
- Maintain communication with 3PL management on any issues with deliveries.
- Review and assist on correcting DC-related vendor violations.
- Assist the DC Operations team to plan and conduct effective physical inventories as required.
- Assist with monitoring and correcting any deliveries nearing cancel ship dates.
- Work with the 3PL Inventory team to complete order cuts and delivery adjustments as required to keep the processing moving and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow company safety standards, always ensure awareness of surroundings and exercise good judgment.
- Ensure proper use, storage and general upkeep of any company equipment used in executing responsibilities.
- Effectively manage and develop subordinate staff, providing coaching and professional development opportunities as appropriate.

If you have :
