Registered Sonographer- Ultrasound (evening / night)- weekends

As a Registered Sonographer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work in an environment deeply committed to your personal well-being and professional development within a setting renowned for clinical excellence. The registered sonographer performs a variety of technical imaging procedures and provides quality care to patients.

Responsibilities include :

• Assessing patients for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services / Departmental Guidelines.
• Operating highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).
• Training students and staff as assigned.
• Creating a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
• Assessing data reflective of the patient status. Interpreting information needed to identify each patients requirement and / or specific needs, and providing care per applicable policy and procedures.
• Interacting with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care.

Requirements :

Education : High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.

Experience : None

Licensure, certification, and / or registration : ARRT registry / ARDMS in one of the following areas : OB / Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography. CPR certification required.

Other : Interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.
