Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

Manufacturing Engineer : The Manufacturing Engineer will design, implement and improve manufacturing processes, equipment and tooling with a primary focus but not limited to CNC machining, welding and / or grinding operations.

You will do this by :

• Designing, implementing and supporting manufacturing processes
• Identifying cost reduction, efficiency and quality improvement opportunities
• Providing solutions to technical issues
• Ensuring projects are transferred to respective departments, including coordinating technical training, resolving startup issues, and providing technical documentation for process control and training purposes
• Improving existing processes and tooling
• Supporting established documentation, communication, and escalation protocols
• Estimating the costs of new opportunities
• Establishing solutions to safety near misses
