Job Summary
Responsible for identifying and procuring goods and services required by the organization. Collaborate with business units to define requirements, source third-party solutions, negotiate pricing, and manage the purchase and delivery of goods and services. Support Exeter's Procurement processes and provide routine administrative assistance.
Job Duties
Administer and manage contracts, including proactive management of contract renewals, change-orders, and resolution of issues or disputes, including managing the supplier's onboarding / off-boarding process.
Maintain and build strong relationships with vendors, internal vendor managers, and business partners, and serve as a key liaison.
Develop, issue, and manage complex Requests for Proposals (RFPs) as well as bids and quotes.
Conduct market research and cost analysis to find the best suppliers and maximize value.
Lead negotiations with suppliers on terms, pricing, and contracts for major projects.
Conduct data analysis to inform strategic decision-making, including developing and presenting comprehensive reports and dashboards on procurement performance.
Analyze and process purchase requisitions in collaboration with Finance and business partners.
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
Maintain procurement communications and internal activities, including management of procurement mailbox within SLA Guidelines.
Provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to lower-level procurement staff.
Education and Work Experience
College degree in Business Management, Finance or Supply Chain or equivalent work experience.
4-6 years of procurement experience.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn and support new systems and applications, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel and Word preferred.
Adaptive learner and ability to manage multiple priorities with limited oversight.
Ability to work collaboratively across all departments.
Friendly attitude and excellent people skills.
Strong work ethic.
Working knowledge of COUPA.
