System One is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Tampa, FL !

We're looking for a mid-level engineer (3-4+ years of experience) who is eager to take ownership of electrical design projects supporting high-tech simulation systems.

Position Overview

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting electrical systems for advanced training and simulation devices. This includes AC / DC power distribution, I / O integration, and interfacing with avionics and trainer hardware using protocols such as MIL-1553, ARINC-429, and Ethernet.

You'll collaborate cross-functionally with software, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure fully integrated, manufacturable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document AC / DC power distribution, grounding, I / O, and network systems
• Integrate avionics and simulator hardware using various communication protocols
• Specify and source hardware components; interface with vendors and suppliers
• Produce clear electrical schematics and documentation for manufacturing
• Support design reviews, requirements reviews, and acceptance testing with customers
• Present designs and progress updates to internal and external stakeholders
