Responsibilities
- Assists with surgical procedures in scrub duties, and in the orientation, training, and education of new personnel
- Assists RN before, during, and after deliveries with patient and room care, set up, and cleaning; assists RN with transporting patients and belongings as directed, as well as clerical duties or other duties as assigned to facilitate the continuum of care for each patient
- Facilitates the provision of individualized patient care
- Reports to the Registered Nurse on each case and the Clinical Manager and the Director of Women and Children's Services
Requirements
OR technician course completion certificate or eligible experience permissible by board to sit for certification examCurrent OR Technician Certification RequiredCurrent American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS RequiredOne-year experience in acute-care setting preferredBenefits
