We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for our Houston-based client. In this role, you will work with clients to design custom Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear & Control Solutions. You will manage projects, provide technical guidance, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and help evaluate team performance. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to develop and implement engineering strategies and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong Electrical and / or Mechanical design experience in automation, controls, power systems, switchgears or similar. Experience working in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include :

• Designing 480V through 5kv Motor Controls, and 480V through 38kV Switchgears.
• Leading design review meetings.
• Handling any design issues between manufacturing and engineering.
• Attend Kick-Off Meetings and answer technical questions.
• Providing on-the-job training to engineering personnel.
• Assist in the publishing of articles and attend seminars.
