Job description

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Matthews, North Carolina.

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(R) (CT) certification to join a high-volume, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Trauma IV, chest pain, and stroke center with 46 licensed beds
  • Care for diverse diagnoses in ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings
  • Utilize Siemens and GE equipment
  • EPIC is used for EMR documentation
  • Weekend and call duties as well as shift details are discussed during the interview
  • Travelers must live at least 50 miles from their permanent address to be eligible
  • Schedule cycle is every 4 weeks
  • Black scrubs required
  • Free parking available
  • Will work with a team that includes nursing and transport support
  • Orientation consists of online learning modules and 3-5 days of department-specific training
  • Holiday coverage requires working 75% of holidays
  • High volume department with a strong culture of team accountability and patient-centered care
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • All requests for time off require manager approval

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
  • ARRT(R) (CT) and BLS certifications required
  • Photo ID required (collected during compliance)
  • Must provide at least 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a supervisor, manager, director, or charge RN
  • Must submit skills checklist applicable to CT specialty
  • Must disclose board action and criminal history if applicable
  • License required if applicable
