Learning & Development Leader
Our client is currently seeking a Learning & Development Leader to join their team in Spring, TX. The Learning & Development Leader will be responsible for ensuring this organization is Future Ready and will lead in the development and execution of an advanced and comprehensive learning & development program.
Responsibilities include :
- Develops and leads programs and projects related to training across a region or large business group.
- Applies subject matter expertise and strong business acumen to lead the center of expertise in one or more learning and development areas.
- Holds accountability for operational goals and the management of financial planning including cost.
- Actively partners with and influences clients at the Executive level on a regular basis.
- Drives strategies and initiatives at the global / regional / business group level by exercising governance oversight in one or more areas.
- Leads a team of managers and individual contributors for a business function, and / or region by setting overall program initiatives, allocating and managing financial and human capital for programs and projects, and ensuring timely and effective delivery of learning and development programs.
- Develops relationships with learning and development industry professionals and / or organizations in order to maintain current market trends knowledge for internal use and accelerate the adoption of best practices.
- Engages with leadership and executives to communicate program status, escalate issues, and guide and influence strategic decision-making.
- Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.

Skills and Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related.10+ years of experience leading L&D in a global organization with a proven track record of delivering tangible business and people outcomes.Experience launching and scaling new and innovative learning programs globally.Strong knowledge of the SCOR model and related roles / skills / capabilities Supply Chain professionals needed today and in the future.Demonstrated and effective practices of galvanizing teams, building cross-functional and cross-geography support to drive impact and results, and proactively tap into data-driven (qualitative and quantitative) transformational insights to inform decision-making and improve output.Executive presence with strong communication skills to influence at all levels including senior executives.Demonstrative ability to develop and articulate a compelling vision, and deliver storytelling through data.15-20 years of leading L&D in a global organization.Understanding of the Supply Chain and / or Digital fields with a pulse on L&D and industry best practices.
