Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is expanding its Community Radiology Section, and we’re on the lookout for full-time, on-site diagnostic radiologists to join our vibrant and growing regional hospital practice. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting the healthcare networks of Vanderbilt’s regional hospitals, primarily in Tullahoma and Bedford, TN, delivering high-quality care to communities across the region.
Position Highlights
- Combination of Subspecialty & General Radiology : Focus on your subspecialty while also expanding your expertise across various imaging modalities.
- Variety of Settings : Primarily serve Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital, with opportunities to flex on-site or remotely to other regional hospitals, impacting diverse patient populations.
- Professional Development : We invest in your growth with CME funding and offer up to 41 days off for vacation, holidays, and training.
- Flexible Schedule : Anticipate 219 shifts annually, including 18 weekend day shifts, with no overnight or call-back duties. Optional internal paid moonlighting opportunities are available.
- Home Workstation : A workstation will be provided for your weekend shifts, ensuring you have the tools you need to succeed.
Position Requirements
MD or equivalent degree with ABR certification or eligibility.Fellowship training in subspecialties such as Abdominal Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Neuroradiology, or Breast Imaging and Intervention is a plus, but not required.Eligible for a Tennessee medical license.Comfortable performing routine fluoroscopy, CT, or ultrasound-guided procedures, including breast biopsy.Willing to work on-site at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital.Benefits
