Compensation

Rate : $54–$60 / hr

Per Diem : Not available

Pay Frequency : Weekly

Schedule

Days : Monday–Friday (10 hours), Saturday (8 hours)

Start Time : 7 : 00 AM

Project Scope

The Safety Manager will provide on-site safety oversight for an electrical contractor working on a large-scale data center project. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, client standards, and site-specific safety protocols.

Key focus areas include :

Overseeing electrical construction activities and contractor safety performance

Conducting site inspections, hazard assessments, and daily safety meetings

Monitoring energized work and ensuring proper lockout / tagout procedures

Enforcing PPE, housekeeping, and safe work practices

Coordinating with project management to maintain a proactive safety culture

Qualifications

Experience :

Must have experience working directly with electrical contractors

Prior safety management experience on construction projects preferred

Certifications (Required) :

BCSP Certification (CHST, CSP, or equivalent) required

Additional Requirements :

Must be able to pass background and drug screening through HammerTech

Bilingual skills a plus, but not mandatory

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of OSHA 1926 Construction Standards

Proficiency in electrical safety programs and NFPA 70E compliance

Ability to communicate and lead effectively in field environments

Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills
