Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Key Points :

Targeting 1-3 years of experience; ideally someone they can mold and train.

Will be focusing more on the fabrication side of the process (supporting Honda, Yamata, Harley)

Basic knowledge of fabrication, required

Knowledge of tube bending, robotic welding processes, a bonus

BS degree highly preferred OR would consider more years of experience

Cradle to grave - Take a product from receiving from customer specs, setting processes, buying equipment, get launch ready, train operators, manufacture, ship...

• Make deviations to materials, processes, etc. - work with the sales team as questions arise.

Management of ERP system from the engineering side. Updating of routings, BOMs, part numbers, inputting data etc.

Other duties : Project management, product launches, basic lean / CI, managing documentation processes

CAD - basic knowledge to read prints and evaluate, but will not be doing any true drawings in Solidworks
