About Sunrise Water Authority :
Sunrise is a public drinking water utility serving the fastest growing community in Oregon. We're focused on meeting the future drinking water needs for the area through an innovative 20-year capital improvement program. We're looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team and lead that effort through planning, design, procurement and construction. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about water and wants to contribute to the success of essential public infrastructure projects.
Position Overview :
The Capital Program Manager will lead our capital improvement program that includes the design and construction of a series of major transmission, storage, and pumping projects, along with a variety of replacement and resiliency projects. This is also a great opportunity to work in a collaborative professional environment, train and mentor staff, and be a part of a growing and dynamic public organization.
Desired Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in civil engineering, a thorough understanding of public water systems, and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. The role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions for the organization and the community we serve. Candidates with supervisory experience and knowledge of public construction contracting, bidding, and project management are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits :
Salary range is $120,00 to $150,000 per year or higher DOQ / DOE.SWA offers full benefits, including medical, vision and dental coverage, 11 paid holidays, short and long-term disability, and participation in the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System (PERS).
