Bookkeeper / Tax Accountant

InfraHire is looking for a Bookkeeper / Tax Accountant in Boiling Springs, SC.

Overview :

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CPA or CPA candidate to join our growing team of accounting professionals. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing bookkeeping functions, processing payroll, and preparing a wide range of tax returns for individuals and businesses.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain accurate bookkeeping and general ledger records for multiple clients.

Process payroll and related tax filings.

Prepare and file business and individual tax returns, including corporate, non-profit, payroll, property, sales, and business license taxes.

Reconcile accounts, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and assist with financial reporting.

Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Stay current with tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and compliant filings.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).

CPA license or active CPA candidate / pursuing a Master's in Accounting or related discipline.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax preparation processes.

Proficiency in QuickBooks , Peachtree , and UltraTax (or similar software).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines independently.

Additional Information :

Extended working hours may be required during peak tax season.

No overnight travel required.
