GTM Leader, Data Centers

Location : Hybrid – Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX

An innovative leader in critical infrastructure technology is seeking a GTM (Go-To-Market) Leader, Data Centers to spearhead the commercial growth and strategic expansion of its data center solutions portfolio. Backed by strong executive support and an aggressive investment strategy, this opportunity is ideal for a growth-minded executive who thrives at the intersection of strategy, marketing, and vertical innovation. This role will directly shape enterprise-level growth initiatives and deliver meaningful impact across a globally scaled organization.

About the Role

This position is focused on scaling a fast-growing vertical through cross-functional leadership and deep market engagement. The GTM Leader will serve as the key architect behind strategy execution, opportunity development, and P&L performance for the data center business line. Collaborating closely with business unit leaders, product marketing, sales, and corporate strategy, this person will bridge the gap between market potential and commercial execution.

This is a high-impact role designed for someone ready to be a catalyst for enterprise transformation and market leadership within the digital infrastructure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the execution of a cross-enterprise strategic plan focused on capturing above-market growth in the data center segment.
  • Architect and drive performance across divisions through the design and oversight of a vertical-specific P&L structure.
  • Identify white space and expansion opportunities by analyzing market signals, customer needs, and global data center trends.
  • Develop and deploy go-to-market programs that integrate sales enablement, demand generation, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across business units to prioritize investments and align growth actions across global markets.
  • Gather and leverage competitive intelligence, technology roadmaps, and customer feedback to shape offering and channel strategy.
  • Strengthen relationships with strategic accounts, fostering loyalty through aligned customer outcomes and innovation delivery.
  • Represent the brand externally as a thought leader in the data center space through speaking engagements, associations, and industry collaboration.
  • Develop frameworks and educational programs to raise internal market fluency and accelerate commercial readiness.
  • Establish measurable KPIs and frameworks that track and communicate vertical performance to the executive team.

Candidate Profile

Required Experience :

  • A decade-plus of leadership expertise in high-level marketing, strategy development, or executive management positions, specifically within sectors such as infrastructure, energy, or business-to-business services.
  • Strong understanding of the data center ecosystem, including applications, trends, and key stakeholders
  • Proven success in P&L ownership, vertical strategy execution, or GTM design in a matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional influence, including collaboration with product, sales, and corporate leadership teams
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Experience working within or selling into enterprise and hyperscale data center environments
  • Background in industrial, water technology, HVAC, energy, or infrastructure-related products is a plus
  • Exposure to mergers & acquisitions or inorganic growth strategy development
