PE MECHANICAL ENGINEER

(HDJ) is a growing Architectural and Engineering firm, and we're on the hunt for a talented Professional Engineer to join our dynamic team and work on exciting projects across the country. With production offices in Muskegon and Grand Rapids, and additional locations in Phoenix, Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Indianapolis, and Los Angeles. There's no shortage of opportunities to make an impact!

Position Location : Phoenix production office

What You'll Do :

  • Design with Impact : Create innovative HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems from schematics to construction for diverse building types, including multi-family residential, commercial and industrial projects.
  • Analyze and Optimize : Perform load analysis, equipment sizing and ductwork design to ensure our systems are efficient and effective.
  • Get Hands-On : Dive into hydronic system design, domestic water, sanitary and gas systems, making sure everything flows smoothly.
  • Be a Fire Protection Pro : Scope out fire protection systems that keep our buildings safe and sound.
  • Craft the Details : Produce detailed technical construction specifications that guide our projects to success.

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For :

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • PE License.
  • A deep understanding of construction codes, architecture, and engineering principles.
  • A team player who excels in managing and working with others.
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit and / or AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Stellar communication, planning, and organization skills.
  • Willingness to travel and the ability to thrive in a hybrid remote work environment.
