This is an entry level Laborer position to perform work in our fabrication shop completing parts for bridges and buildings. As a Laborer / Painter, your work is important to our success. You will work in the fabrication shop completing parts for bridges, buildings, locks and dams, and other structures. You will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. Your duties will include (but not be limited to) :

• Blasting and painting steel components
• Grinding, cutting and piece marking
• Supporting sawing, drilling, and welding processes
• Assisting with structural steel and stainless-steel fabrication
• Operating cranes and fork trucks
• Potential to get into welding and advance your career

The Laborer / Painter will also assist team members as needed in order to achieve company goals. See attached job description for additional information.

Qualifications for a Laborer / Painter :

This is an entry level position, but some experience in a steel fabrication shop or industrial painting is preferred. Are you organized with an eye for details? Can you meet deadlines with high-quality work? Do you have great problem-solving skills? Can you be flexible and adapt to new challenges and roles? If yes, you might just be perfect for this laborer / painter position!

This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee and Team Members without proper safety precautions. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. Team Members will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies due to these safety risks.

The schedule for this full-time position is Monday through Friday, 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM. Overtime may be required at times in order to meet project needs. There may be an opportunity to work a flexible schedule based on project needs and with prior approval of your supervisor.
