We are looking for an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team and lead geotechnical aspects of diverse projects. This role involves performing advanced geotechnical analyses, developing foundation recommendations, and providing technical guidance during construction phases.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver high-quality geotechnical services on time and within budget.
Prepare and review reports, specifications, design details, and project documentation.
Act as a technical resource within multidisciplinary teams.
Plan and oversee subsurface exploration programs.
Develop cost estimates, scopes of work, and proposals.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of design efforts.
Utilize design software to produce engineering recommendations.
Participate in Design / Build projects, advising on constructability, sequencing, and cost considerations.
Provide on-site support for clients or project offices as needed.
Contribute to project scoping, fee estimating, proposal preparation, and client interviews.
Perform design calculations and investigations to support recommendations and contract documents.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Geotechnical Engineering (Masters preferred).
Minimum of 16 years of geotechnical design experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Experience with static and dynamic load testing (highly desirable).
Field experience in site grading, slope stabilization, retaining wall, and foundation construction (preferred).
Design / Build project experience is a plus.
