Job descriptionHighly motivated individual with proactive approach to work CMM programming in automotive manufacturing experience. Utilizing Polyworks software with Blue light / Client / Faro operation experience. CAD e xperience Proven Skills to problem solve College BS or other technical degree or min. 5 yrs. experience in field of metrology New model launch experience rgus formability software experience Operate and care for optical and physical measurement equipment individually experience bility to analyze and identify accuracy issues vi color map comparisons Strong computer skills and ability to create reports bility to advise technical staff and work independently to meet project goals Tooling background with stamping dies, check fixtures would be desirable Troubleshoot and care for sensitive optical, mechanical / robotic equipment bility to set / develop standardized procedures to improve efficiency bility to apply technology to help clarify problems from engineering staff given minimal direction bility to fabricate / develop 'one off' testing methods to support engineering hypothesis for countermeasure development Mechanical and digital aptitude to work through equipment operation issues using 3rd party technical support off-site
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Perform measurements of stamping dies, identify gaps to target.
- Perform measurements of stamping g panels and sub-assemblies to determine statistical stamped panel quality for accuracy and formability.
- Perform measurements for PxP and nominal fit vehicle nalysis.
- Perform SQI, WQI, SLQI scanning
- Scan completed dies and mesh dat for utilization for NAMC die repair and copy die preparation
- ll activities are completed in a timely manner and always an understanding for sense of urgency
- Perform ARGUS process - Etch / Photogrammetry / report
- Travel to company plants supporting and performing scanning activity
