Call Response Time : Immediate (in-house)
Callback Rate : Included in 24-hour call

1-2 weeks per month, ideally 2-5 shifts per block

Patient Demographics : Adults, Obstetric and Gynecologic patients

Patient Volume / Census : Low acuity, approximately 300-320 labors per year

Case Mix : Obstetrics, Gynecology, deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs, laparoscopic procedures, ectopics

Cesarean sections

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Minnesota license required

Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics / Gynecology

DEA : Required

Certifications : Not specified

Experience : Skilled and competent in OBGYN surgical and clinical procedures

Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Epic EMR

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide clinic coverage Mon - Fri, 8 : 00a - 4 : 30p

Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage, with emphasis on weekends

Perform deliveries, cesarean sections, and gynecological procedures

Manage admissions, rounding, and phone consults as required

Collaborate with support staff, general surgery, pediatrics, and tele-neonatology

Maintain compliance with credentialing, privileging, and hospital policies
