Customer Service Representative – El Cajon, San Diego

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our client’s team in El Cajon, San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounts receivable, collections, and payment processing, with the ability to handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with billing inquiries, processing payments, resolving account discrepancies, and following up on outstanding balances in a professional and timely manner. You will work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate account management and provide top-tier customer support while maintaining company policies and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism and accuracy

Process customer payments and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly

Manage and reconcile accounts receivable, including posting payments and resolving discrepancies

Conduct collections activities, including following up on overdue accounts and negotiating payment arrangements

Respond to billing inquiries, account adjustments, and other customer account issues

Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, payments, and account status

Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and ensure excellent customer satisfaction

Meet daily and weekly productivity, accuracy, and collection goals

Qualifications :

1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in accounts receivable or collections

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM or accounting software

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Working Hours : Full-time

Onsite

Monday- Friday

8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM PST

Position Details :

Location : El Cajon, San Diego

Contract to hire role

Compensation : $20.00-$22.00 per hour (DOE)
