Mechanical Technician - Data Center - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Our client, a global leader in Commercial Real Estate and Facilities Management is seeking multiple Mechanical Technicians due to business growth in the Data Center practice. This full time role will work onsite in Summerville, SC, pays $38.52 per hour on 4 ten hour days - 2nd Shift 4 : 30pm-2 : 30am. This role contains 3 weeks PTO to begin and a strong benefit package.

The key to this role is utilization of Mechanical skills to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs in a Data Center operation. The incumbent will :

• Be responsible for the daily performance of preventative and corrective maintenance work.
• Perform HVAC repairs & replacements including refrigeration circuit maintenance
• Perform Motor & compressor replacements
• Troubleshoot Low voltage and mechanical issues.
• Clean Heat exchangers
• Perform pump and gearbox repairs and replacements
• Deliver Plumbing repairs and replacements
• Perform daily Rounds and readings
• Respond to and perform minor operations and maintenance activities at the request of the Control Room Operator
