We have an opportunity for a senior principal electrical engineer who is seeking to utilize their strong academic background and experience in RF / Microwave system theory and design, including architectures, subsystems, components of Identification Friend or Foe Arrays (IFFAs). The successful candidate will employ their working knowledge of IFFA to be a subject matter expert for design updates, IFFA production, and support to resident and fly away teams.

What You Will Do

• Provide technical assistance to Raytheon sub-IPT Leads, Tech Lead / RF Engineer / SME, Mechanical Engineer, Test Engineer, Quality Engineer, and support to customers in the form of documentation, instrumentation, training, and other technical assistance.
• Continued technical knowledge of IFFA build, operation, test, analysis, documentation, troubleshooting, dealings with suppliers (especially mandated U.S. Suppliers)
• Participate / assist in training other IFFA personnel.
• Travel to local integration sites and subcontractor facilities.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
