Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for surgical servicesConduct deliveries and patient rounding as requiredRemain within 30 minutes of the hospital while on callRespond promptly to call requests and emergenciesUtilize Meditech EHR for patient documentation and workflowAdditional Information
Active Vermont medical license requiredNo malpractice historyBoard certification in Surgery requiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications requiredMinimum a few years post-residency experience strongly preferredMust be comfortable managing both upper and lower surgical casesBenefits
