The M&A Integration department is responsible for integrating core functions from newly acquired organizations into Anduril's Administrative operations, ensuring we maximize value and accelerate our mission impact. We move to enact post-acquisition integration quickly. And the team often represents a first impression of Anduril's people and culture. Our team members have the ability to build trust quickly, project management complex programs, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across organizations.
About The Job
We are looking for a Director of M&A Integration to join our Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) office in Costa Mesa, CA, Boston, MA or Washington, DC. Anduril growth story has been a successful mix of building and acquiring products and capabilities to solve some of the toughest national security problems. Seamless integration of the acquired businesses is critical to delivering to our customers in months not years. In this role, you will be responsible for driving consistent integration of Anduril's acquisition portfolio for all aspects of the CAO office. This will require strong understanding of the acquisition lifecycle, excellent program management, drives successful change management, a knack for process improvement, and experience working with cross-functional teams. This role reports to the Chief Administrative Officer.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement comprehensive integration plans for acquisitions, with emphasis on G&A processes and systems
- Lead integration planning during the due diligence phase of a pending acquisition to identify integration requirements, challenges, and opportunities
- Establish strong working relationships with acquired company leadership to facilitate smooth transitions. Deploy on-site with the acquired company during the initial integration period to ensure seamless integration into Anduril
- Develop standardized M&A integration playbooks and frameworks to ensure consistent execution
- Oversee the integration of core functions, such as Finance, HR, and Administrative functions
- Manage integration timeline, milestones, and critical path activities
- Identify and mitigate integration risks, including regulatory compliance, security clearance management, and export control considerations
- Partner with corporate development, business, and technology leadership to align integration approaches with strategic objectives
- Lead change management efforts to integrate acquired employees into Anduril's culture and operations
- Develop metrics to track and report integration progress and capture synergies
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on integration status and issue resolution
Required Qualifications
You have 10+ years of experience in M&A integration, corporate development, internal operations, management consulting, investment banking, or related roles.High ownership with sufficient horsepower to effectively manage multiple (5+) large projects and priorities in parallel, at a rapid pace, and report out on progress regularly. Including project managing stakeholders.Demonstrated experience leading post-acquisition integrations and change management in a technical organizationStrong understanding of G&A functions including HR, Security, Corporate Planning, and Revenue Operations; as well as, IT, Legal and FinanceOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence without direct authorityStrong emotional intelligence and ability to solve operational problems not only from a data-driven lens, but also in a people-centric way by building strong cross functional relationships across the companyMust be authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred Qualifications
Experience in Software, Technology, and / or Defense industries.Experience working with government contracting requirements, ITAR / EAR regulations, and security compliance preferredExperience implementing IPO readiness programs.US Salary Range $220,000 - $290,000 USD
