About the Opportunity

Southern Medical Care is a busy, well-established family practice clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, dedicated to providing exceptional primary care to patients of all ages. Were seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is compassionate, team-oriented, and excited to make a difference in our growing community.

This role is ideal for a new graduate or a provider relocating to the Pine Belt area who desires mentorship, stability, and a chance to build meaningful patient relationships in a supportive environment.

What Youll Do

Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan
Perform annual exams, chronic disease management, and acute visits
Collaborate with our physician and care team to ensure quality outcomes
Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices
Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system

Qualifications

Licensed (or eligible) FNP or PA-C in the state of Mississippi

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

Strong communication and clinical skills

New graduates are encouraged to apply mentorship and training provided
