Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational institution in Cowen, WV, is seeking a dedicated Counselor on a contract basis for the current school year. This role is integral to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address academic, social, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to develop support plans and interventions.
• Assist in the identification and referral of students requiring additional services or resources.
• Facilitate programs and workshops aimed at promoting student well-being, conflict resolution, and career readiness.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in pliance with school policies and legal guidelines.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
