Mechanical Designer Responsibilities

• Support the design department with projects such as, but not limited to : producing models, shop drawings, cut files, bills of materials, purchased item lists, and other associated project documents.
• Design modular conveyors for the food & beverage industry.
• Work through the revision and approval process and document revisions as needed.
• Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, and related data to assess factors affecting design or layout.
• Coordinate with design lead and fabricators to design, layout, or detail components and systems to resolve design and / or other issues.
• Assist in constructability reviews with design lead, project managers, and other shop personnel to ensure products are designed with shop capabilities and the customer's process in mind.
