Role Overview

As a Jira Administrator, you will manage, configure, and support Jira environments to help teams efficiently track and manage projects and workflows. You will work with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure optimal use of Jira for task management and project tracking. Additionally, you will maintain system integrity, implement best practices, and continuously optimize processes to drive team productivity.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Jira environments, including workflows, custom fields, permissions, and notifications.
• Keep Jira software and add-ons up to date with the latest versions, patches, and security updates.
• Collaborate with team members to define and implement Jira best practices for project and task management.
• Monitor Jira performance and troubleshoot access, functionality, or configuration issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of Jira configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Analyze team workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement recommended changes.
