Eversource Transmission System Operations Training Role
Please note : Authorization to work in the United States is a precondition to employment in this position. Eversource will not sponsor candidates for work visas for this position. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example : emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.
Role and Scope of Position
This role develops and implements Eversource transmission System Operations Training. Training includes both classroom and on-the-job training and incorporates both conceptual and hands-on instructional methods.
Essential Functions
Technical Knowledge / Skill / Education / Licenses / Certifications
Technical Knowledge / Skill :
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience : 5-10 (5-10) years experience in electric power distribution, transmission or generation. Four (4) years of experience as a System Operator preferred. One (1) year of experience as a trainer in a formalized training program preferred.
Licenses : Valid motor vehicle operator's license.
Working Conditions
Must be available to work emergency storm assignment as required. Must be available to travel between MA / CT / NH as necessary.
