Litigation Associate

Hoge Fenton, a distinguished multi-service law firm, headquartered in downtown San Jose, is seeking a Litigation Associate with substantial experience in real estate litigation. This position will focus on real estate disputes and litigation, but will also support the firm's other litigation practices. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience with real estate disputes and litigation; experience with business litigation is a plus.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the State Bar of California
• 6+ years of litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in real estate litigation
• Strong working knowledge of the California code of civil procedure, evidence code, and relevant areas of the civil code and business & professions code
• Ability to manage cases from inception to resolution with general supervision
• Ability to independently identify issues and anticipate / recommend strategy in litigation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Location

This position can be based in our Silicon Valley (downtown San Jose) or Tri-Valley (Pleasanton) office. Travel between locations may be necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $215,000. This range reflects the firm's good faith estimate of potential compensation, which may vary based on experience, qualifications, and skill set.
