Glowbar is a skincare company with a people-centric mentality. Our singular mission is to help people feel confident in their skin, so we created the first-to-market, custom, 30-minute facial experience to make skincare more accessible, efficient, and effective. Each studio is equipped with expert estheticians who provide professional-grade results at an affordable price-point.
After launching in New York City in 2019, Glowbar has quickly scaled with locations across the northeast with national expansion on the horizon. As we continue to grow, we aim to maintain the special glow that sets us apart from traditional spas.

Care for your clients :
Provide a friendly, compassionate environment, deep product / protocol knowledge and honest adviceComplete each Glowbar treatment in 30 minutes. No more, no lessComplete client notes in Glowbar Admin during every treatmentEnsure each client receives an extraordinary skincare treatment for their individual needs and goals, including but not limited to extractions, dermaplaning, LED light therapy, high frequency, ect.Walk client through the why and benefits of each step of treatmentEducate clients about products and provide at-home routine suggestions using “Seal the Deal"Achieve (or exceeds!) monthly product sales targets by thoughtfully educating clients about products and personalized at-home routine suggestionsCare for our team :
Provide feedback to management on progress and challenges and suggestionsCollaborate with fellow estheticians on best practices, client needs, and opportunities to improve the client experienceComplete treatment room checklist after every shift to set up next Esthetician for successLog inventory replenishment accurately and consistentlyEnhance and uphold standards, policies & procedures through various means of communicationParticipate in events onsite / offsiteREQUIREMENTS :
Valid (temporary or permanent) state Esthetics License1+ years experience as a licensed esthetician at a busy spa / salon with a proven track record of excellence in estheticsMaintains an average of at least $1,000 product sales per monthMust love hospitality and interacting with customersMust have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule - must have weekend, holiday, and some early morning / midday / late evening weekday availabilityFull-time requires 5 days of open availability, including both weekend daysPart-time requires 3 days of open availability, including one weekend dayWeekend only requires open availability Saturday and Sunday every weekStrong understanding of salon standards, policies and proceduresMust be a forward-thinking problem solver with a strong work ethic who has compassion for employees and clientsPassion for beauty, skincare, learning and trying new things everydayEstablished clientele a plus!Working Conditions :

Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the entire shiftBending, reaching, twisting, and lifting (up to 15 pounds) — including merchandise, laundry, and back-of-house suppliesClimbing up and down stairs during shift operationsRemaining mobile and on your feet for the full duration of your shift (shift lengths may vary)Exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels, particularly in laundry or supply areasPerforming operational tasks such as restocking, organizing supplies, and light cleaningRequired to work weekends, evenings and holiday to support our client demandPerks we are really proud to offer :
