This position reports to :

Operations Finance Manager

As a Cost Accountant, you will collect and analyze financial metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance of the specific factory / manufacturing site.

This is an on-site position based in Richmond, VA

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in the United States.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform cost accounting activities including creation of standards, allocations, analysis, and ensure accuracy of BOM and routings as it relates to finished goods
• Ensure accuracy of inventory & logistics by enforcing policies & procedures, monitoring adjustments and develop corrective action(s) for exceptions
• Generate reporting for plan vs actual for costs, hours, production targets, etc.
• Prepares financial modeling for various hypotheses and assesses impact to factory with special focus on product / business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over / under-absorption analysis / inventory analysis.
