Job descriptionHigh School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary / associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and be willing to submit to a background investigation, as a government security clearance might be required for this position. Ability to work overtime / weekends / shifts and some travel. Ability to stand, walk, and move around for long periods. Security Clearance required for role : Ability to Obtain Experience in an Electrical / Mechanical / Optical discipline. Aerospace or Defense industry experience. Experience with shop equipment including but not limited to Mills, Lathes, Grinders, and precision measuring equipment. Lean Manufacturing practices.

Shift Timings : 6 : 00AM-7 : 00AM
Essential Functions :
- Experience in production assembly.
- Perform work in manufacturing and / or prototyping environment.
- Read engineering drawings / blueprints / schematics and detailed work instructions.
- Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
- Work with very fragile and precise assemblies.
- Assist with identifying problems and suggest solutions.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices.
- Work with a variety of hand tools and specialized equipment.
- Must be proficient with measuring tools (verniers, calipers, scales, etc.)
- Must be able to perform as an individual contributor as well as within a team environment.
