The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires employers to report injuries and illnesses that result in lost time from work and / or death. In conjunction with GB Claims management, GB-RCCS provides this reporting service to our clients using the LUMINOS OSHA Tool.

Position Details

Hybrid Schedule - M-F 8am - 4pm (1 hour lunch) 35 hour work week. Training will be in person and occasional in-person meetings. Location : 2850 West Golf Road, Rolling Meadows, IL.

Essential Duties

• Assist assigned accounts with reviewing client claim data to determine OSHA recordability for each WC claim or incident.
• Use guidelines as set by OSHA to determine recordability.
• Monitors each open WC claim and updates recordability status.
• Ensures accuracy of each claim entry in the OSHA portion of LUMINOS and provides monthly reports of all recordable-only claims.
• Work closely with Gallagher Bassett Center of Excellence technicians, resolution managers, and account managers to resolve claim recordability discrepancies.
• Creates and distributes to clients weekly / monthly and end-of-year reports that summarize claims reviewed for recordability.
• Assist with electronic reporting due to OSHA.

Quality Assurance

Participate and assist with all OSHA Advocate quality assurance initiatives. Attend weekly TEAMS check-in calls with OSHA Advocate Team. Maintain positive working relationships with GB-RCCS clients and internal / external GB / Gallagher personnel.

About You

Qualifications : Attention to detail, organization, knowledge of Excel, familiarity with OSHA. Able to work well independently, resolve discrepancies, constructively communicate with clients, GB account managers and adjuster. Claims experience preferred. Familiar and confident with the use of online technology, as well as willing to explore and work with new technology. Innovative, creative, and willing to present new ideas and solutions to grow the resources and capabilities of the OSHA Advocate Service. Able to manage multiple tasks, meet multiple deadlines, and available to assist with situations that call for extra work hours and / or assist other team members.
