MasterTech is on the search for a Heavy Equipment Technician in the Kalamazoo, MI area.

The successful Field Service Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment (construction, forestry, agricultural, aerial, mining, etc.).

Compensation :

  • $30.00 - $40.00 / hour
  • Comprehensive benefits plan, including medical, dental, vision, short & long-term disability (100% employer paid), etc.
  • Retirement savings plan
  • PTO
  • Service truck, gas card, and company cell phone.

Schedule :

  • Day shift, Monday to Friday. 7AM start time.

    • Key Qualifications :

  • 4 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
  • Experience working on various heavy equipment (construction, agricultural, forestry, mining, landscaping).
  • Completion of a Diesel Technology program preferred, not required.
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience using diagnostic software (Cummins InSite, DDDL, JPro, CAT ET, Service Advisor, etc.)
  • Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
  • valid driver's license, CDL preferred.
