Accounts Receivable Assistant

The Accounts Receivable Assistant supports customer accounts to ensure accurate aging balances and enable timely collection.
Essential competencies and responsibilities include:
- Exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with core behaviors
- Promotes culture of safety
- Reviews and resolves internal A/R helpdesk tickets; RMA confirmations, credit and rebills, new ship-to set up, etc.
- Submits and reviews customer invoices through third party web portals
- Prepares and validates timely consolidated invoices
- Resolves incoming customer inquiries through the AR email inbox
- Answers incoming customer calls received in the A/R phone queue
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Performs all work in accordance to ISO processes and procedures
Qualifications include:
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable in MS Office
- Experience in Prophet 21 desirable
- Proven customer service skills
Supervisory responsibilities:
- No direct supervisory responsibility
Education and/or experience:
- High School Diploma required
- 2 to 4 years accounts receivable or general accounting experience preferred

Work environment:
- Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use computer and other equipment.
- Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.
PPE required:
- Wrist rests for keyboard and mouse pad.
