Job Description
Position Purpose :
Under general supervision of the Conveyance Supervisor, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, and maintains relevant mechanical machinery and components of process and non-process plant and field equipment to maintain proper operation of the wastewater collection / conveyance system for the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. Must be proficient in machining, welding, cutting, fabrication of parts or components needed to maintain or repair equipment to achieve this goal.
Is required to accurately maintain and update records, documents, and manuals including electronic media. Must provide current, timely, accurate, and complete data, for all work assigned. Is required to follow current company / department policy and procedures, is required to fully participate in improvement initiatives, including but not limited to : job plans, workflows, job safety analysis, standard maintenance procedures, preventative maintenance improvement initiatives, efficiency activities, use of technology based solutions, condition assessments and reliability initiatives.
