Description :

Orientation is conducted every week.

The facility is a leading healthcare provider in the region.

It serves as a tertiary care regional referral hospital.

The unit operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center.

It also offers a Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery.

The patient population includes adults and geriatric patients.

The unit has 16 available beds.

Patient ratios are maintained at 1 : 1.

The equipment used includes IABP, Impella, Rota Blader, Shock Wave, and Laser.

The EHR system employed is EPIC.

The work schedule includes four 10-hour shifts during the week.

Weekend hours vary with 24 / 7 call coverage.

Call requirements include 1-2 nights per week and one weekend per month based on departmental needs.

Candidates are required to have a Diploma RN or an Associate Degree in Nursing.

Dress code mandates hospital-provided scrubs.

All candidates must complete specific clearance requirements.

Clearances include Child Abuse History, Department of Human Services Fingerprinting, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting, and PA State Police Clearance.

Volunteer clearances will not be accepted.

This position is created to cover for leave.
