Director of Software Engineering

A company is looking for a Director of Software Engineering to lead experience engineering teams and deliver high-quality digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

Lead software engineering teams to design, implement, and deliver digital experiences using cloud-native technologies

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful development and implementation of strategic products and platforms

Define and drive an end-state architecture focused on simplicity and flexibility while attracting top engineering talent

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's preferred)

15+ years of experience in Software Engineering & Development, Design, and DevSecOps

8+ years of people management experience in a software development organization

Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and proficiency in Node.js and microservices

Hands-on experience with CI / CD tools and extensive knowledge in testing and monitoring capabilities
