About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented attorney with one to three years of experience to join our organization, which provides integrated legal and compliance support across a diverse portfolio of entities — including a private foundation , a real estate investment and management business , and a private equity investment firm .
This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent law school graduate or early-career attorney seeking exposure to multiple industries and the chance to work directly with senior executives on meaningful, high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements (real estate, investment, vendor, partnership, and grant agreements).
- Support due diligence, entity formation, and compliance matters for private equity and real estate transactions.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research to support business operations and philanthropic initiatives.
- Coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters as needed.
- Assist with document management, corporate governance, and board reporting processes.
- Provide general legal support across affiliated entities and projects.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to practice (or eligibility for admission) in North Carolina preferred.1–3 years of professional experience in a law firm or corporate legal department (transactional, real estate, or investment background preferred).Strong drafting, analytical, and research skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.Demonstrated interest in business, finance, and / or philanthropy.High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.What We Offer
