Valley Industries in Paynesville, MN is looking for a Receiving Clerk

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for efficiently managing incoming shipments, verifying accuracy, and ensuring proper storage of goods in the warehouse.

Some of the essential functions of the job are :

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with purchase orders.
• Verify quantities, item descriptions, and conditions of goods delivered.
• Report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies to the appropriate parties.
• Maintain accurate records of received goods, including delivery receipts, packing slips, and invoices.
• Input receiving data into inventory systems or databases.
• Organize and store received goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of items stored.
• Forklift experience preferred.
